respectful research
a path to your past

Pathfinding research starts where the
indexes end.

Whether your family history is a mystery or you're up against brick walls, I find primary sources to document your family narrative.

A family tree built from verified records looks identical to one built from hints until you see the citations. Those details are the difference.

The databases that many DIY genealogy sites rely on are only as useful as what is in them. If you think you've gotten to the end of the data, let me dive deeper. I might find pearls — or your great grand-aunt Pearl.

What sets me apart:

I specialize in the Nordic countries, and am working toward a certification for Norway from the International Commission for the Accreditation of Professional Genealogists. With personal heritage among the Sámi people, I especially love connecting people to Indigenous roots.

Additionally, I have experience researching families from the former Russian Empire (including Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Prussia, and other countries), and from Scotland and England. I also am experienced with the United States, especially the Pacific Northwest, Upper Midwest, and the New Sweden colonies, though my research has taken me to records for nearly every state.
